Don't miss a thing

Prophet In The Age Of Miracles..

Don't compare him to Tom Petty..Chuck's in a category all his own.
With a wonderfully haunting voice that narrates each song sung like a short story.
He has an amazingly playful way of flipping a tune..
He's an erstwhile Dylan with the wonderful influences of all the music we've been around..but he manages to make his unique..
Quite an accomplishment given our repetitive musical atmosphere.
"You Did" is a you deserve the credit babe song..a top download.
"Pin A Rose On Me" a "I told you so" song about a friend's abusive relationship.
"Just To See You Smile" is bound to do so just listening to his boyish style.
"West Memphis Moon" about the famous case of the three boys murdered there years ago.
There isn't a bad song in this album or his others if you listen.
Chuck Prophet wears his last name and still manages not to preach at us, sending our way, songs that are thoughtful, humorous and oh so human..
