Album Review

Polygram Special Markets' The Best of Connie Francis may only be a budget-line collection, but it's an effective sampler of the peak years of her career. Many of her biggest hits — "Where the Boys Are," "Everybody's Somebody's Fool," "Lipstick on Your Collar," "Follow the Boys," "Second Hand Love," "Stupid Cupid," "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own," "When the Boy in Your Arms (Is the Boy in Your Heart)," "Breaking in a Brand New Heart," "Many Tears" — are here, and the handful of cuts that weren't hits are quite good indeed. The result is one of the rare budget-line discs that isn't just good considering its origins — it's just plain good.

Connie Francis was one of the major female voices of the 60s and this album is a good selection of her songs, most of them were hits. Especially good for those who lived this music.

Best singer I ever heard!

I was her chlid sweetheart I love her so much as a chlid. Her singing is right to the heart, God Bless her

Like Madonna, Concetta Rosemarie Franconero came...
