Reseña de álbum

After releasing them from their contract, Jive collected the greatest moments of (hed) pe's tenure with the label, from their eponymous 1997 debut through 2003's hard-driving Blackout. And although they will never be mentioned in the same breath as many of their rap-metal contemporaries (Deftones, Korn, System of a Down, etc.), (hed) pe's hard-driving sound most certainly earns them a slice of the rap-metal pie. Thankfully, Jive had the good sense to stack their most well-known songs in the front and offer up fan favorites more prominently during the second half of the disc, including "Feel Good," which features System of a Down singer Serj Tankian and Kittie's Morgan Lander making guest appearances. It may not be a definitive look at the group, but it's a nice overview of the first half of the band's career. [Best-Of was also released with three bonus tracks.]

Hed of the klass

I'll never forget watching them in 97 in the cattle club in sacramento. They opened for System of a Down and Hed blew the f-ing roof off. I've been to hundreds of concerts since but I have NEVER been to one with so much energy and fun since. 12 years later and I'm STILL bumping Darkie. S*** TALKERS EAT A PHAT D***!

(Hed) rocked, they had an attitude and sound that just sounded so right. Topping off all their previous hard albums with "Only in Amerika" it seemed like things where only getting better, but after that man it seemed like the D.I.Y. guys had somebody else doin for them. Please bring back the heavy music. Put down the KMK stash and do it like you used to man for real. damn

Huntington Beach, CA's (hed) p.e. Three years and a self-financed 1995 EP entitled Church of Realities later, (hed) p.e.
