A Little More - A Little Less

JIm Stafford is an amazing performer and some of his music is so tongue in cheeck, you can actually lick yourself. This collection is by far an undstatement of what Jimmy can do. See him live performing Mr. Bojangles or Cow Patty and you'll see what I am talking about. Other songs like Wildwood Weed and My Girl Bill are missing from this. Swamp Witch and Spiders and Snakes and A Real Good Time make up for it. I still remember his televison show and was amazed with the things he could do on the guitar. The problem with this collection is when he hits, he nails it, 16 Little Red Noses and A Horses Sweat is a terrific blues riff and a great line "Running around screaming I'm an airplane make me take off" have actually worked in getting attention, but "Your Bulldog Drinks Champagne" was an idea that should have stayed on paper. I listened to Jim debut album until the grooves wore out, and the first six track are here. I just miss Sharin Sharon.

You're missing a few....

A great album, but it needs "Bill", "Wild Wood Weed", and "Bits and Pieces" to be truly the best of Jim Stafford.

The Best of Jim Stafford

I have been looking for over a year and cannot find Wildwood Weed and My Girl Bill. When will Itunes ever get those classics? Does anyone from Itunes ever look at these requests?
