iTunes Review

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours practically defined FM-radio in the late-‘70s. The group’s three main songwriters each carved out their territory as their romantic lives with each other were falling apart. Stevie Nicks had a touch of mystic (“Dreams,” “Gold Dust Woman”). Christine McVie wrote universal anthems (“Don’t Stop,” “Songbird”) and Lindsey Buckingham churned out dynamic pop confectionaries with undercurrents of emotional distress (“Second Hand News,” “Go Your Own Way”). Spinning tragedy into gold was clearly their specialty.

Customer Reviews

Best to track entire record each time you listen.

Back when vinyl was the format of choice I would usually track one or both sides of a record each time I chose to listen to a record. After tracking the record a few times I would develop a “sonic” memory of the songs and the order they are tracked in.

Years later buying the digital version of the album that “sonic” memory from 1977 comes rushing back and my brain excites with the knowledge of what song is to play next on the record.

“Rumors” means 1977 which means high school senior year. There was good and bad at that time of my life but music was the glue that held everything together.

Don’t hesitate to buy this record (with all of the tracks) if you are missing any part of it. When the music police come to visit you, not owning this record could mean bad mo-jo for you!

The most perfect Album Ever!

Just…just ….so Just ….well!!!!! Perfect!

Love it😍

One of the best albums ever created!

While most bands undergo a number of changes over the course of their careers, few groups experienced such radical stylistic changes as Fleetwood Mac. Initially conceived as a hard-edged British blues combo in the late '60s, the band gradually evolved into a polished pop/rock act over the course of a decade. Throughout all of their incarnations, the only consistent members of Fleetwood Mac were drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie -- the rhythm section that provided the band with its name....
