Yes. Just yes.

Dan Deacon is just purely awesome. Seeing him perform "Wham City" live was the most amazing and expressive sight I've ever had at a concert. I've seen him perform twice, and I can honestly say that he's one of my favorite people in the modern music 'business'. Dan Deacon's work is more of an experience than just music. Plus, he's just a wicked nice guy.

The AMG reviewer obviously had the wrong set of ears to hear this music with! Wham City is such a pure, crazy, joyful song, the first time I heard it was a bonified religious experience. Without trying too hard to put it into words, I mean that I realized that such transcendent moments of creative bliss is what true religion is about! even when inspired by jokey electro art-punk songs
