The Darkness Is Aptly Titled

This album is engulfing and best listened to in it's entirety! A conceptual album "The Darkness" is aptly titled. From the first note of Requiem you are drawn into an erotic haunted world and when the final note of Farewell hits you're not ready to leave!

It is hard to recommend just one song as they all tie into each other but I would say Gunmetal Black Dress would be the first to listen to if you just want a taste of Josh Stone's brilliance.

Malory would be the second recommendation but buckle up for it as there are truly insane things occurring in that song!!

This truly is a masterpiece; thank you Josh for sharing your brilliance with us!

The second release by Josh Stone is simply fantastic. Pick an hour late at night, turn the lights off and immerse yourself in "The Darkness" Listen to this concept album (of the struggle between Light and Dark) from beginning to end and you will forever be a Josh Stone fan. Very POWERFUL songs and lyrics... loved it.

Quite a Musical Journey

This album grabs me and holds me from beginning to end. Very powerful lyrics and songs as well as relaxing parts and instrumentals that seem to work so well in tying the album together as one whole piece. I was looking forward to Josh Stone's second album and he definitely did not dissapoint. Maybe even exceeded my expectations. So far Gunmetal Black Dress, Malory, and A Cry for Help are my favorites but that could change as this is the type of music that you fall in love with the more you listen to it (definitely not pop). Farewell is a beautiful song and a perfect and symbolic end to "The Darkness".
