Japan's Got Its Own Metal

Kadenzza's album marks a new change in Asian extreme metal. For the longest time, Japan has been influenced primarily by European and occasionally American metal. This isn't necessarily a bad thing (look at Sigh for instance). But, with its operatic, technical, and even (dare I say it?) emotional qualities, Kadenzza's music perfectly suits (and is inspired by) other forms of Japanese media, i.e. Ghost In the Shell In other words, if you like extreme metal, Japanese opera (or standard/sterotypical Japanese music), and frankly anything that is good and holy, then I highly suggest this album. I'd recommend downloading "Ghost In the Shell" first.
