Singing the Spirit Home

So, I had never heard of this guy until I heard his version "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" which I had always found to be a particularly haunting song (remember the the scene from On the Beach?) but I this guy does it really great. I'm partial to Irish/Scottish music and can't get enough of Flogging Molly, but this guy's got a great voice and hits the right notes. Waltzing Matilda is well worth a download.

folk music / protest music - WOW!

I love all of Eric Bogle's music. He writes original real stories about life events. He sings them well, and the music is terrific!
You can sing along, or just listen, or laugh and cry with the wonderful lives he opens up to you. Funny, touching, sad, and upbeat.
Try it, you'll like it!
