Stop your WHOLE LIFE and buy this

Music should say something. The Endangered is a mouthful. The soulful resonance of Maiya's voice mixed beautifully with the irresistible talent of the band makes my ears beg for more. Genre? All. Talent? Overload. Good? Greatness. Once people unplug from the infantile milk of pop culture and decide to jump to the meat and potatoes of real music, nothing will be able to keep The Endangered from the top of every chart. Buy it, fall in love, trust me.

Music.... Evolved

I was actually introduced to this band by accident. I was attending the 2013 NAMM show, during an early Sunday morning. The Endangered was up on the mainstage, and the groove was magnetic. You could see it everywhere. Bystanders on the way to the main convention center were pulled to watch and listen to this band. That groove is not only obvious in a live performance, it's obvious on their recordings. Gene Coye, is definitely the foundation for this band. His solid groove, and well timed fills are the start of a well oiled machine. Throw in Frank Abraham on bass, and you've got a lock that's tighter than a Brink's Safe. Lincoln Cleary's keyboard grooves, and chord selections will surprise you, and give you that "<lift your shoulder, crick your neck) oooh, I like that" moment, and Nick Blocks guitar licks are funkay. But, over the top of all this flavor, is the icing. The voice of Maiya Sykes will blow you away. It's like somebody mixed the best of Anita Baker, Toni Braxton, and Mary J. Blige, and put them into a single package. By far, my favorite song is You'll Be Mine. But, this album is All Good. Don't miss out on your chance to hear the next evolution in music.

The next big thing
