If G&O met Flight of the Conchords...

...would they world stop turnin on its axis? Just wondering....

Try harder ladies...

First of all I love Garfunkel and Oates, they make funny music. The only thing I have to complain about is how they release their music. This album along with All Over Your Face have previously released songs on them, why? Why have songs on this album that you released on the previous albums? Especially the ones that are on your website for free? Also what's with the six second song that still costs .99 cents? Yes it's funny, but a ripoff. With the six second song, Silver Lining, and I Would Never gone this album is still $10 but at least it'll make sense.

A little more originality needed.

Let me start by saying that each song on this album is very charming and funny. My only complaint is that a few of the songs on this ablum seem to share similar composition with songs on the previous album "All Over Your Face". "Save the Rich" shares a very similar melody to "Running With Chicken", the song "Hey Girl in the Moonlight" shares an almost identical guitar part as "You Me & Steve" as does "I Don't Know Who You Are" and "Gay Boyfriend." When the music sounds original the album really shines. "Google", "I Would Never (Have Sex With You)", and "Go Kart Racing" really recall the unique sound of their first album and each stand out as album highlights. The album is very funny and more than worthy of a listen. However, a little more variety would have been nice.

Hailed by the Wall Street Journal as "the female Flight of the Conchords," Garfunkel & Oates is a comedy duo comprised of actresses Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome. The project took root in 2007, when the two began composing songs to accompany one of Lindhome's short films, Imaginary Larry. Both actresses proved to be fairly adept musicians — Lindhome (aka "Garfunkel") played guitar, while Micucci (aka "Oates") had studied classical piano as a child — and the resulting music was light,...
