Praise for Good Summer Rain

Beautiful, Soothing, Authentic, Heartfelt. I have just recently discovered this music- It is one of those moments when the right music comes to you just when you need it and it feels like finding an old friend even though you've only just met. the lyrics and the rhythms and her voice weave together - very grounding . I especially love Brand New Starts and Endless Pines~ if you want to know more -check out her web-site or just google Erica Wheeler.

Really Good Summer Rain

This is a great album. The songs are soothing, thoughtful, deliberate, and kind. I love this album. It's my go to down time music.

Beautiful, fun, and meaningful

I had the opportunity to hear Erica Wheeler play a couple of weeks ago in a small setting that was sponsored by the Kestrel Land Trust in Amherst, MA. I had not heard of her before. My kids loved her music - especially Muddy Waters - fun to sing. Good Summer Rain is a tune "inspired" by the experience of big box stores the have replaced farmland on Route 9 in Hadley, MA. It really hit home. Her loves songs, like As the Crow Flies and Lucky in Love really speak to the heart. Her song lyrics are like (good) poetry, full of beautiful images that reach deep places inside but don't preach. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon her music, I think you will too.
