Album Review

While their sonic punch is undeniable, blending guitar skronk with Bryan Scott's snarled vocals, the rebellious posing of songs like "Revolution Man" comes off as a calculated marketing ploy rather than true agitation. Rather than start a revolution, this is music that will likely lead to skateboarding and headbanging. [Education in Rebellion was also released in a "clean" edition, containing no profanities or vulgarities.]

I've never been to Ozzfest...

I actually picked this up on a whim at Target long ago. It kinda had to grow on me, but it's a decent album. I'd say if you like PM5K, White Zombie or maybe even Static X, you might wanna give these guys a shot. My only real problem is that I found the title track a little misleading. It sets you up for an entirely different sound overall, and feels really out of place when you consider the way the rest of the album feels. Otherwise, pretty solid.
