Take the wheat, leave the chafe

For those that the envision Christ as a table tosser in the ranks of regular folk, pressin boundaries and shining light on the illusion (defined: explicit). For those that honor well crafted beats and rhymes designed by minds that speak past the surface to the seeker in all of us. This is for you. After the catharsis of Pawn Shop and the mellowing of marriage one can feel the maturation in Harvest. The delivery, tone and timing continue to lift the bar. I'm not always convinced that we're on the brink of destruction but these are certainly odd times we're living in. That said, Harvest provides plenty food for the famished mind and I am very much enjoying the listen.

this is true hip hop

Some of the best beats and lyrics rap has to offer. Qwel's style and sound is far more superior to anyone in mainstream hip hop today. This stuff is dope and should be heard by everybody. This is rap at its best.

True undaground hip-hop

This album is True undaground hip-hop. Songs like "broken wing" and "The network" really show off Qwel and Maker's lyrical prowness. Chicago "66 thumps with a pimping flow.... what can you say man? If you are tired of the mass marketed, over-produced crap-hop out there, pick this up.......
