"The Heart is a Monster" is the Perfect Follow-Up to their Masterpiece, "Fantastic Planet."

I've loved this band since the mid 90s. 'The Heart Is a Monster' is the perfect follow-up to the masterpiece that is 'Fantastic Planet.' I hope they finally get the attention they've always deserved from the general public despite always being a band's band. So much is said of other 90s rock/grunge outfits such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, STP, Alice in Chains etc. but Failure belongs in that company too. They're one of the greatest rock bands of not just the 90s but of all time. Their career may have been cut short back in '97 but 19 years later, they still sound incredible as this album proves. Buy this album. Share it with your friends. Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards and Kellii Scott are all accomplished musicians in their own right but when they play together, something magical happens. We are all so lucky that this album happened.

The Mad Bomber ,

Failure fans will NOT be dissapointed.....

This is EVERYTHING you have been waiting for......I was expecting this to be good, but this is a powerful, 18 track masterpiece that may even surpass Fantastic Planet. Ken, Greg, and Kelly have truly outdone themselves this time. 12 new songs, every one of them good, 6 new segues......
"Snow Angel", "AM Amnesia", "Atom City Queen", "Fair Light Era", and "Come Crashing" are excellent. They have Failure's signature guitar energy and synth atmospheres, Ken's clever harmonized lyrics, and lots of superb soundscapes with lots of new ideas mixed in. The slow, brooding "I Can See Houses" and the suprisingly Lennon-esque "Mulholland Drive" add some spice to the mix. This is WELL worth the wait, even tho it was 20 years.....
Bravo!!!!!!
Catch them on tour this Summer!!!!
