authentic americana from pennsyltucky

frog holler is an authentic, traditional, bluegrass-rock-indie-berkscounty band. they represent rural, laid-back, pennsylvania folk better than anyone else in my middle-age, forgetful opinion. i appriciate their honesty, talent, and energy sooo much. this is a great introduction, but come to pennsylvania and watch them play to the delight of their ferocious, yeungling-drinking, fans. they may not be superstars, but will forever be true to us. authentic, grassroots, organic, insightful, celebration of life in rural eastern pennsylvania.

American music

The Boys of Frog Holler know how to make great american music not folk not rock not country something all "Frog Holler"

A Far Cry From Their Better Albums

Not much "zing" in this album. "Dark" is the best word for the theme of the entire work.
