Chimaira does it again

Both Metallica and Chimaira have done something great for their current releases, they both did an awesome job of building excitement for their new albums. Chimaira did this by having the spread the infection website with unlock codes to see hear clips of songs. Plus nothing got really leaked out so it really built up to the release date. I got mine a few days ago from preorder and I have to say that it really kicks some a*s. Listening to it you will know its a Chimaira album but it does have something new and different about it. While being very heavy it also has alot more groove and melody to it too. Every song has a riff or chorus that sticks in your head. Think of the riff from The Flame from Resurrection and thats where it seems to go towards. My favorites are The Dissappearing Sun, Impending Doom which is just an awesome song and On Broken Glass.

Amazing!!!

this is another incredible album from chimaira. it might take a while to get used to because of the pace being a little bit lower but will still rip you to shreads. this album is definitely worth the money. chimaira is the best!

Um... Chimaira?

Like many other fans of the band, I could wait for the release of this album. I just knew that it would be just as good as or better as the last one or the self titled one, but... NO. Again, like a few reviewers who wrote before me, all of the songs are REALLY slow and they all sound the same. WHAT THE F**K. It seems like they've completely lost it, I couldn't even muster up a headbang while listening to any of these songs. I guess I kinda like On Broken Glass and The Heart of it All, but damn.... If you're just getting into the band, DO NOT get this. Check out Resurrection or their self titled album... Anything but this redundant record.
