Billy Strange

If you like james bond then listen to the theme and rock out to this music

Awesome!

Some really great music and redo's of popular classics. Billy Strange rocks!

At 13 I wore this album out

Wow, Billy is gone. I heard the news and realized I had not thought of him in decades, but he was one of my favorites as a teen. It was the height of the James Bond craze and anything Bond related was hot, especially these theme songs. Billy and Bond were inseparable. His driving guitar music for the Bond movies was immediately the trademark for every secret agent movie and tv show that came later. Others more knowledgeable than I can expound on the secret agent music genre. I was just a kid and I knew what I liked, and I knew that Billy was the center of that world. Looking back now the themes are so familiar that it sounds a little trite, but try to imagine when this sound was new and exploded into popular culture. What a great time!

Thanks Billy, it was all so good.
