A masterpiece, Jack Johnson has a lot of catching up to do

I saw Trevor Hall on Nov. 29, 2008 live at the Odgen Theatre and I was blown away by his musical skills and creative poetry, and the soothing beats of rhytm. This is everything I was looking for in a mellow music and I found him. This is like chicken soup for the soul, I advised Jack Johnson to do more research when it comes to good mellow music, but yet Jack Johnson is still the mellow king but Trevor Hall takes the spot light for this one. 5 out of 5

Having experienced the magic of Trevor Hall and Chris Steele live, I anticipated this album unlike any other that. It was worth the wait. The combination of Trevor's honey-laden vocals, his guitar coming forth like beautiful rain, and the moving frenetic-to-relaxing beats of Chris on the cajons creates something that you rarely capture in a lifetime. I strongly recommend this album to any fan of music. My standouts (if I had to pick ANY) are "House Of Cards", "The Love Song", "Well I Say", and "Jago Ma". Listen and LOVE.

Better than the BIBLE!

I saw Trevor play with Matisyahu at Bogarts in Cincinnati and at the Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky and I have to say he iis the best artist out there. "This is Blue" is an example of his greatness. I listen to "The Lion's Mane" everyday before I go to school because it puts me in such a good mood, mentally, that not even school can ruin my day. I even made my own t shirt with this cover on it whe I went to his show at the Southgate House. This is the best album ever created by any being, natural or supernatural

Born in South Carolina and raised in California, Trevor Hall developed an affinity for summery acoustic music, from the beachside ambience of Jack Johnson to the leisurely stroll of Bob Marley. Having spent his teenage years at a boarding school for the arts, Hall dedicated his life to music upon his high-school graduation. He self-released Lace Up Your Shoes in 2004; two years later, the teenaged Hall prepared for his major-label debut with Geffen Records. The Rascals Have Returned, an introductory...
