Customer Reviews

First I'd have to congratulate my cousin, Aaron, for making it on iTunes. Second I would have to say that this album is the most relaxing and stimulating CD that i have heard in a long time. Of course because this is my cousin my mom got the CD almost instantly when it first came out, and it really grew on me. I'm excited that Aaron is able to share this music with all of you finally. Key Tracks: Flower of Lebanon (exceptionally well played piano) Santiago (stunning lyrics) Animals Like Us (unique and i dare you to keep up with the words) Lullaby (an amazing duet) and All the Waters of This World (has an amazing way of bringing pure happiness and a smile to your face using an unrenowned erruption of vocal talent.) Keep it up Aaron, Nick (and the rest of the Family, especially Kelly)

completely hooked

I'll admit to bias: a childhood friend mixed/mastered and played drums on this album. However, that fact was--at most--a reason to give this album an honest listen, not to heap undue, shallow praise on it. Well, one listen was all it took: I had this on endless loop at work yesterday. Standouts include "The Lullaby of Loneliness", "All the Waters of This World", and "Flower of Lebanon". Peter Gabriel comparisons come easily--and fans of Peter shouldn't hesitate to buy--but Aaron English has a style all his own. Thoughtful lyrics, a dynamic voice, terrific arrangements, and of course, great drumming (heh). Brilliant.

A wonderful sound to relax to

I found "All the Waters of This World" years ago on Amazon. I was duly impressed and had no idea who the artist was. This album has sparked many imaginations in my English classes over the years, and most of my students have no clue what real music is unless they are screaming into the microphone (but they are learning...slowly, but surely). You will not be disappointed with this album. Go for it.....
