14 Songs, 47 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

For his fourth holiday project, Christian composer Michael W. Smith goes country, turning to crooners like Vince Gill, Martina McBride, and Lady Antebellum to conjure up some down-home Christmas cheer. Not everyone has a twang, though. Michael McDonald joins Smith on “Peace” and Bono contributes the moody spoken word piece “The Darkest Midnight,” while Amy Grant lends her voice to the haunting new hymn “Almost There.” Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood’s lush vocals on “All Is Well” are a present you’ll want to unwrap again and again.

A wonderful and a spirit-filled musical experience!

I waited until the stroke of midnight just so I could hear the 90 second previews on iTunes, and it was so worth it. It is no surprise that I am once again blown away by this man's magnificent musical talent. His Christmas music lifts me up in spirit and soul, and I feel the love and warmth of God all around me!

Wonderful!

I've been a Smitty fan for a very long time. So, I was really excited when I heard he was doing another Christmas album. I think this whole album is GREAT. One of my favorites on the album is with Carrie Underwood, and then there is the one featuring his granddaughter. I think it's a blessing he included her on the album. A job well done Smitty! May God Bless you! <3

Smitty does it again!

If you like Christmas music and you know who Michael W Smith is then you know this album is a no-brainer buy. Smitty goes a little more traditional in this album compared to Christmas, or Christmastime, but he does not disappoint. He picks the perfect songs to pare with the perfect duets. If you like Christmas at all and want that warm feeling this is your album! Another great one Mr. Smith!
