Phenomenal Soundtrack

Gorgeous, electronically-clad tracks undulate between ominous (opener 'Neon Demon') and sexy (e.g., 'Messenger Walks Among Us'). Julian Winding's edgy and pulse pounding Demon Dance and Sia's majestic closing 'Waving Goodbye' are guest highlights. After winning the Cannes Soundtrack Award, Cliff Martinez and company may just receive the Oscar nod that eluded them with 2011's Drive (also a (Refn film).

Mesmeric

Whatever you might think about the film, Martinez's score/soundtrack is stunning. The music alone brings the listener to a place that is difficult to describe; it is undeniably immersive. I am of the opinion that Refn's film would not have been successful without this gorgeous score that so beautifully elevates the director's otherwise excessive and shock-inducing style.

Seductive and sinister!

I've been looking forward to this film for quite awhile and after finally seeing it I was very intrigued by this soundtrack. Personally I believe that one of the best scenes uses 'Are We Having a Party' is incredibly intense and mesmerizing! And might I say that using Sia's 'Waving Goodbye' in the credits was genius!
