Special Effect

I've been a TRS-80 fan for awhile now and they never cease to impress me. Some album downloads are worth paying for, this is one of them. The New You has a lot of depth and rocks in an intelligent way. Their last couple of releases have featured the analog synths more and I love it. The sub bass on Ancillary Character is especially heavenly.

New Music With Style

This album, though short, has a lot of punch and style. I find myself listening to TRS-80 all the time now that this album came out. Tinted itself is worth the price of the entire album. The fact that all of the other songs are just as good is merely a bonus.

Kent Rayhill, Deb Schimmel, and Jay Rajeck tweak a mad beat as TRS-80. This Chicago electric trio formed in 1997, shaping a sound similar to the likes of Amon Tobin and Boards of Canada.
