Best Remedy Album So Far!!!!
The North Star is without a doubt Remedy Drive’s most inspiring and best work to date. David’s lyrics are both heartbreaking and inspiring. You can feel what inspired David to write these songs deep in your soul when you hear David sing them so passionately. Every song is an anthem of hope for those who are marginalized and oppressed. This album will be the spark that ignites a fire in the soul of everyone who listens to it. The fire that will not die out. The fire that will burn until every single soul is rescued from sex trafficking and will continue to burn to ensure that sex trafficking never returns.
This is what 90% of modern music is missing. Meaing, emotion, and creativity are overflowing here. This album feels original and I love the flow of these songs. You Got that fire is the best. Emotional chorus, great lyrics, and Rachel's voice only further gives another real added bonus to one of my favorite songs I've heard in a long time.
Great follow-up to Commodity

These guys need to be heard by more ears! I have the full album and it is beautiful, raw, convicting, and inspiring. So far this is a five for me and Commodity is a 5+, but this album gains with each listen.
About Remedy Drive
The absence of a television set at their home in Lincoln, NE, led band of brothers Remedy Drive to turn to music at an early age as an outlet for their pent-up creative energies. Growing up, they listened to CCM icon Keith Green, but it wasn't long until siblings David, Paul, Philip, and Daniel Zach discovered rock & roll and began using their free time after school to play music together, eventually forming the Aslan Band in 1998. In time, the Zachs rechristened themselves Remedy Drive, released five independent albums, and toured all over the Midwest, making a name for themselves in the Christian rock scene there. Before signing to Word Records in 2008, the band averaged 200 concerts a year and its albums sold in the tens of thousands, prompting interest from the Christian major. Produced by Ian Eskelin, their national debut, Daylight Is Coming, was issued on August 26, 2008, making an impressive initial appearance in the upper rungs of Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. ~ Andree Farias
