Another lovely melodic prog release by them

Another lovely melodic prog release by them. Subsignal are special. I've loved the core of this band since they were (mostly) Sieges Even. Another lovely melodic prog release by them. No over the top symphonic metal; no as-man-notes-as-possible prog - just truly tasteful just-the-right-amoint-of-cleverness. Super melodic. Lots of space. And, the last several releases have had exceptional production. Very cinematic - they could make some great rock operas with their music. They deliver some of the same warm, layered as Anathema, though Subsignal tie much more directly to ELP and Yes- without sounding crusty and outdated. ;) The Bells of Lyonesse and As Birds on Pinion Free are just lovely.

i can't get enough of this album

I'm a long time prog fan and SS know's how to hit me in the feels. La Muerta is a great balance of tight grooves, catchy melodies and such unique perspectives on space that keep you yearning for more. Though considered prog, there music is not super flashy to technically blinding to non-musicians and easily appeals to ALL listeners. I can't wait to see this guys at Prog Power 2019!
