Steven Cravis Has Done It Again!

Piano And All That Jazz,

For twenty years Steven Cravis has astounded music audiences with his soaring melodies and rich musical arrangements. The Quell Collection is another addition to an already impressive body of work by this excellent pianist and composer, and with each new work, Steven Cravis demonstrates an even greater refinement and maturity. What a treat to my ears and The Quell Collection is wonderful!

Revolutionary Beauty

For the love of nature... This is such a moving and beautifully written album I recommend it to everyone I meet who is musically inclined and would appreciate the music for it's true being in it's entity as a whole.

About Steven Cravis

Steven Cravis is a pianist and composer who scores for television, film, and the technology sphere as well as releasing new age piano music with a focus on meditation and relaxation. A Massachusetts native, Cravis began piano lessons at the age of seven and went on to study piano performance at the Berklee College of Music. Taking inspiration from the likes of George Winston and Hans Zimmer, he self-released his first collection of solo piano pieces, True Reflections, in 1992. The Sound of Light followed in 1995. Subsequent albums included 2004's Lavender Dreams, a 2007 set of Soothing Ringtones, and Something New Under the Sun, a collaboration with vocalist Mark Stevens from 2009. Later that year, the solo album Healing Piano was entirely improvised on a Kawai RX-7 grand piano, while 2013's The Quell Collection consisted of music he composed for the Quell app. In the meantime, Cravis earned numerous screen credits, writing music for short films, games, and for networks such as CBS, Animal Planet, CNN, and the U.K.'s Matchroom Sport. In 2013, he released the collection Music for Film, Television and Games. The solo piano album Cloudwalker followed in 2016, and a year later, he provided the score for the 2017 TV documentary Going the Distance: Journeys of Recovery, about survivors of traumatic brain injury. ~ Marcy Donelson
