iTunes Review

Legendary composer John Williams' orchestral score to Jurassic Park is an exercise in contrasting stealth with bombast. "Incident at Isla Nublar" opens with taut and wavering strings, undercut by timpani signaling the threat of approaching danger, while the song's frantic midsection ups the adrenaline levels as if fleeing from a pack of Velociraptors. As a climax, "T-Rex Rescue & Finale" is positively gargantuan, with stabbing brass-and-string attacks hitting home like earthshaking dinosaur footsteps.

Hmmm, for what's supposed to be the full and complete 20th Anniversary Edition there's about 4 minutes missing off of this between the Finale/End Credits tracks. Musically it's one of the best end credits portions of any film and it's missing here. The whole music from the Jeep arriving at the helicopter after the TRex rescue to the overview of surviving characters in the chopper to where you see the Albatross' flying outside before finally finishing with Directed by Steven Spielberg is gone here. WHY?!?!?!?!? If this was here I'd have no issue giving this 10 stars

Just buy it!
