Customer Reviews

Red Molly scores again!

Hooray for Red Molly. Their newest album ("The Red Album") is absolutely excellent. Once again, they have produced an album better than the rest. It exhibits their superb growth as a trio. It resounds with their renowned vocals, harmonizations and instrumental prowess. Step aside Dixie Chicks (and all others). Red Molly is moving to the top and to the forefront.

Why drums??

You were so unique before. You might as well move to Nashville. DRUMS???? Vincent Black Lightening is the only decent Americana song on there.

Absolutely stellar

We’ve been huge fans of Red Molly from very early on and are always sure to catch them live when they are in town. At their most recent concert, they previewed a number of songs that are now found on The Red Album and the recordings live up to their fantastic live performances. great covers, like Richard Thompson’s 1952 Vincent Black Lighting, are well matched with amazing original pieces. It all kicks off with Clinch River Blues, an outstanding example of their harmonies as well as the songwriting and performance that are guaranteed to get you clapping, stomping or dancing. All in all, a fantastic addition to an already impressive discography. Well done, Mollys, and we can’t wait for you to come back to town!
