Superb and Masterful

I first discovered Bill Coulter as a student at the National Guitar Workshop. I have a sampler CD that includes a song from him called "Morning Rain." Apparently it hasn't been released anywhere else or at least iTunes doesn't have it. Too bad because it's a remarkable song.

My favorite solo Guitar album!

Soothing yet passionate and driving. I love this album. Purchased it many years ago, absolutely love each song. My favorite song is Crested hens! Such a beautiful song. !!!

Bill Coulter is one of the most musical guitar players I have ever heard. While his technique is stunning, it does not overwhelm or stand out as it does with other guitarists who seem to say "listen to what I can do." Instead his technique is used only to enhance the beauty of the music he plays. While this CD is primarily in DADGAD, and therefore has a distinctively Celtic feel to it, it is still the beauty of his playing and the music that stands out. I would recommend this CD to anyone that loves to hear the guitar played, no matter what genre. He is a true gem in the field of guitarists. Also, he plays a mean penny whistle too! Chris Larsen

Switching to new age-tinged Celtic music on his...
