Hair of the Dog at the Parting Glass

If you like rocking Irish music you will love this band. They are great in person but their songs stand up very well on cd. The album is a bargin at $9.99.

The Capital Regions premire Irish act...

Great classic Irish music...if you like traditional stuff, with a fun spin, you will enjoy Hair of the Dog.

Love them

I love the style these guys do. I hate the Irish heavy metal bands, as well as most Irish rock bands. This is almost Irish rock, but also really folk-ish. I think it's a good combination. Paddy on the railway is one of my favorites, but I can't ever find it, so thanks to them!

Hair of the Dog (Ryan Spencer Cook, guitar and vocals, Mike Dupke, drums, Boot, bass, John A. Sepetys, guitar) released an independent release simply titled Hair of the Dog in 1997. This release was in response to a tremendous reaction to a cut called "Caddilac Jack" that appeared on a radio sampler. The group spent the better part of the next two years on the road.
