Great Album, Now I Must Have More!

It seems like these guys are catered to just draw me in. Great guitar hooks and a driving rhythm that just makes you want to tap your feet and hand-drum on whatever surface happens to be in front of you. "High Heel Leather Boots" is undeniably catchy and draws you in right off the bat with the pounding drums and crunchy guitar. The only track that didn't do quite as much for me was "Another", but having "Jet Black" immediately after it more than makes up for it. "Bang It Out" really satisfies and leaves me wanting more of these guys. Great music!

Get in the back seat, Black Keys.

These guys rock and make me wanna drive fast!

In your face!

Far from all the fabricated bands and sounds that populate today's soundscape Baby Bee finally brings some authenticity back into the game. The influence of 50's rock'n'roll is obvious however the band is not just a copycat remake of that sound. The Stark brothers inject an "in-your-face" energy that just isn't part of the 50's aesthetic, as well as minimal and tasteful use of effects and clever song architecture. It is a rare thing for a band to manage writing tunes that both aficionados and musicians alike can dig. It is all about finding the right balance between intricacy, raw energy and plain old songwriting skills.

Looking forward to seeing those guys live!
