Trent Reznor + Anger - Interscope = The Slip

I absolutely love this record. I can easily listen to every song without skipping one. Here's the rundown: * = Star Rating 1. 999,999 - Really cool, creepy opening. Gets you pretty pumped for the rest of the record! **** 2. 1,000,000 - Probably THE best track in music right now. Great drumming from Josh Freese and hard vocals from Trent. Should have totally been the first single. Definetly worth the price of the record! ***** 3. Letting You - Really cool distorted track. Almost punk-like in nature. Very un-NIИ. **** 4. Discipline - "The Slip's" first single. Very danceable track with some well laid-out guitar work. Very reminiscent of "Year Zero" ***** 5. Echoplex - "The Slip's second single. The drum beat intro is so unique and thumping. A really nice track, and one of my favourites. ***** 6. Head Down - My personal favorite. The hardest track on the record according to myself. Trent's shouting is awsome and that chorus is the best ever! ***** 7. Lights In The Sky - Reminds me of "Hurt" alot. A pretty simple track with just Trent and his piano. Very mellow and warming. **** 8. Corona Radiata - I love this track so much. Sure it's an instrumental, but there is nothing like it whatsoever. It's like a dream at the beginning, but when the percussion drops in at about 4:00, that dream turns into a nightmare. ***** 9. The Four Of Us Are Dying - A really speedy instrumental track. Some cool bass lines are added well with the beat. **** 10. Demon Seed - That intro is so sweet! I could listen to this track all day; yeah it's that good. *****

Nine Inch Nails were the most popular industrial group ever and were largely responsible for bringing the music to a mass audience. It isn't really accurate to call NIN a group; the only official member is singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Trent Reznor, who always remained solely responsible for NIN's musical direction (he was, however, supported in concert by a regular backing band). Unlike the vast majority of industrial artists, Reznor wrote melodic, traditionally structured songs where lyrics...
