The Allegations are bogus

The allegations against coldplay for plagiarism from "The songs i didnt write" is completely false. First of all, creaky boards claims that the saw chris martin at one of their concerts one night in october 2007, but on that night it is proven that chris martin was in a recording studio in london. Second, Coldplay already demoed viva la vida 7 months before the concert even came out. It may sound very similar, but it is a common chord progression and melody. It is a coincidence, that is all it is. But i do give props to creaky boards, i do like this song

Andrew is a good guy

Have to admit that i was surprised to find Creaky Boards on itunes (i'd assume from all the publicity that they have gotten itunes jumped on the chance to ride the media hype) but i really enjoy their melodic 60's tunes. The CD is a good mash-up of quirky lyrics and fun-pop sounds. The songs are light and remind me of sunny times. I met the lead singer of the creaky boards-Andrew, the scourge of the coldplay legionaires, when he played at my school with another amazing band the Darwin Deez. The concert was illpublicized and the crowd was very small. So, i found myself talking to him. What a super nice guy!
