His style is so unique and every single one of his songs gets stuck in your head as soon as you hear them; I can't wait to hear his new stuff, it's sure to be solid gold. This artist deserves more recognition.

Can't Wait!!!

I've been a huge fan of Matt Hires since he released his album "Take Us To The Start" with my favorite song to this day still being Honey Let Me Sing You A Song. Seriously, I think I'm addicted. I can't go a single day without playing through the Matt Hires album. When he came out with Forever EP I was ecstatic as he hadn't released any new material in a while. I was not disappointed, and found myself listening to the whole thing over and over again. No, seriously the top four songs I've ever listened to are the four songs on the EP. I'm proud to say I'm a true Hirer (that is now his official fan-base name)

I mean touring with parachute??? That's awesome!!! I'm going to see him at The Rave in Milwaukee!!! I can't wait!!!

Matt Hires beautifully intertwines catchy hooks and flawless lyrics. All the while creating an instant attachment to the listeners by pulling on the strings of their heart. This is by no means, a spotty album you have to constantly thumb through. Each song is gold.

Hires had begun writing music during his late teens, when his father jump-started his son's career by giving him a 1977 acoustic guitar. Before long, he'd pieced together a band with several friends; the rock group named itself Brer and released two records before calling it quits. Hires continued onward as a solo musician, landing...
