Pure Space-Age Goodness

This album is almost the entire summation of everything we've come to love about the 50s. It's the world viewed from the lens of the 50s worldview: hopeful, peppy, and generally neat-o. Even a glance at the album cover gives one a profound sense of nostalgia, even if wasn't quite alive then. On the other hand, it does remind me of the Jetsons. Bob Thompson is definately a genius of composition, but even if one can't take that much away, it is definately a fun and cheerful period piece.

Lite, Fun, Sophisticated 50s pop. WOW

Wow! This is smooth, sophisticated, lite, playful 50s pop. At once funny and quality stuff. A must have for anyone interested in unusual music. Pure and perfect 50s cocktail kitch!

Great Music ruined by unnecessary sound effects

I honestly would give five stars to the music, it's terrific. Unfortunately however all of the recordings featured on this album are plagued with loud modern, unnecessary, and obnoxious sound effects which ruin the majority of the songs.
