What a talent!

It's been quite a while since falling this hard for an artist who's new to me. "Song Named After a Girl" is SUCH a jam!! "A Safe Distance" transcends time. Brian sounds great and the music is always fresh!
Love it, love it!

This album was full of surprises!

The first song from "The Sound" that really got me, is "Extroverts at Play". The riffs from this are pretty great, and it just SOUNDS great. Brian has done a wonderful job here and I can't say enough about the song.

The next surprise, was the cover of A-Ha's "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale". I've loved that song since I first heard it back when A-Ha did it!
A+ on that one Brian, keep up the good work!

Another song here that i love, is "Game Over". The moment I heard the background loop, I was pretty sure that it was an homage to the old video game "Spy Vs Spy" from the 80's. I played that for the first time on the Commodore 64, and later, on Nintendo. So that was kind of a trip to hear THAT, and I love it :)

Listen with headphones

Like another review said, I love Song Named After A Girl. Great hook and there is a remix available as well if you look at the Color Theory site. Extroverts at Play also completely rocks. Overall, I really enjoyed this album, particularly with the headphones on. Try it out!
