Search for the Golden Dreydl finds the Boston-based Naftule's Dream reworking several traditional Jewish and klezmer songs — "Black Prelude," "Oy Tate (Oh Father)," "The Spinoza of Market Street," "The Crooked Walk," "So Nu," "The Farshtunkene Hobo (The Stinky Hobo)" — in a radical fashion, opening up the songs to new sonic territory that is always unpredictable and surprisingly accessible.

The Shirim Klezmer Orchestra had been playing traditional Klezmer music in the Boston-area for 14 years when they created Naftule's Dream as a more adventurous outlet for their improvisations and original compositions.
