Hands Down, the Funniest Comedian These Days

I've been keeping up with John Pinette for the past 5 years & his stuff is still as funny today as it was the first time. Each time I've played his album for family & friends, they immediately ask for a copy; my aunt actually cried her makeup off in the car. Lol.

This album is excellent. He works in some of his older jokes for continuing fans ("You go now!") & brings a lot of fresh material to the stage. His accents are excellent, and as always, everything revolves around food. Lol. A must-buy for any Pinette fans.

If you're new to John, check out, "I'm Starving" before this one & you'll find it funnier. If you're coming back for more, check out the video first; his facial expressions & body language here leave a lot wanting on the CD. Or just buy both...I know I will!

Enjoy y'all!

I saw him on Tv and i was searching comedians on itunes but i totally forgot about him until i saw Bed bath and beyond, thats really fun but my favorite is Air Travel

Still really good, but not his best...

I love John's work, and I don't think he had ever released a bad CD, but.... there are a couple of challenges with this one. He must have had a sore throat during this recording, because he's having to work a lot harder to be heard, almost a raspy screaming at times. The bits are all funny (among some of his best), but there's a bit more edgy attitude in some of them, and coupled with the sore throat, it sounds like he loses some of his "cherub-like demeanor". Most of the bits are still very well constructed, with his perfect sense of timing, but through his earlier work, you could hear a playful sense of wonder in his voice. In this one, it seems like he's gotten a bit more sarcastic and forceful (again, partially due to his raspy voice).

While it's a must-have for any fan of John Pinette, it's not the best one to start out with .
