These Peaons Give Pop Music A Black Eye

BEP's formula for making a feel good club-hit like "Got A Feeling" does not get the proper dosage of something here on the remake of Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes "Time Of My Life". Maybe it has to do with the fact that the original song was scored for one of the most laughable and spoofed movies of the eighties "Dirty Dancing". And while this dumbeddown generation may not have a clue about the original references, the cheesiness of the music still seems timelessly cheesy. I don't know if I feel my embarrassed for my generation or theirs that this is getting an attention or play in the clubs. When people request the Peas I still break out songs like "Weekends"... when they used to sample good eighties electro like Debbie Deb.

Not Bad

I liked the Wideboys remix most from this collection. Afrojack and Dave Aude's remixes were really good. I'm not particularly impressed by the others.

Pretty cool stuff.

The Zedd remix is my favorite, the rest is ok.
