The Transition

I have purchased and listened to both their albums entirely and they do not fall short in anyway. This EP does not disappoint! They have been given a gift and they're using it to further God's kingdom! God is so good!

Christotelic from the Lyrics to the Melodies

Every song in this album is carefully crafted to address common struggles among fellow Christians. The lyrics not only relate to us, but they also points us to Jesus Christ, the Savior who is victorious over the sins and the struggles in our lives.

Even musically, every song carries the feelings of their struggles, and a transition through the melody that matches the EP's theme. However, there is a common thread of a majestic/ triumphant sound through its use of piano or orchestral instruments; A reminder of the hope and the power of Christ to overcome which leads to worship.

Every song seems to experiment with different musical genres, so even if you're not Christian, I think that you can enjoy the variety of sounds (in addition to the excellent production quality).

Some criticism.

Don't get me wrong, I love you guys and all that, but I have some problems. First of them being, some of your songs make me wanna worship and some make me wanna skip it. Also, most of your songs are upbeat and everything, but there's not that much diversification. Like I want to hear some hardcore songs from you guys, some things like Tobymac does or Lecrae. Furthermore, since it's Christian "hip hop" I want to hear some more references to other things as well. It's nice that your songs hit the average Christian, but why not the world around them. Some other problems for me is that alot of the time, you guys use fast flow. I like your fast flow but sometimes it's too quick for me to understand. I showed my friends one of your singles "Never Change" (not pertaining to this album sorry) but she didn't like it because of the fast flow. I personally liked Never Change though. Even though that, your EP is very nice. Personally my last one is that it would be nice for you guys to have guest singers every now and then, with their own personal chorus, while you make verses. Or better yet, have one song just completely freestyle to God. Well yeah if you read this, thank you for your time.
