The Family

Who doesn't remember the Family from Prince's crew? iTunes needs that one on here ASAP!

a great cd covering past hits.

I was surfing itune one day and came across this cd by The Truth. After listerning to the sample I have to buy the cd and was not disappointed. Covering songs from James Brown (Soul Power) to the Family (Screams of Passion) and Prince (DMSR and Erotic City). The Truth takes of thier songs and make it thier own and stay truth the music. A great cd to listern to from the begining to the end.

not my review. just the truth despite what Itunes says

An "All-Star" supergroup, The Truth consists of current and former members of Prince & the Revolution, Prince's NPG, Madhouse, The Family, Mint Condition & The Time. Keeping the "Minneapolis Sound" alive are St. Paul on Lead Vocals, Bass, Guitar and Keys, Jellybean Johnson on Guitar, Eric Leeds on Saxophone, Chance Howard on Lead Vocals, Bass & Keys, O'Dell on Guitar, Donnie La Marca on keyboards, Jerry Hubbard on Lead Vocals, Bass & Guitar and Kirk Johnson on Lead Vocals & Drums. Their live shows are legendary, and the new CD captures The Truth live in their hometown of Minneapolis. It was a funk filled evening, and now you can share the music with the band and find out for yourself why they are called The Truth!
