It's been about 3 years since the Lips' last full-length release (Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots), and the result was well worth the wait. Although the vocals could still be pushed a bit more, the songs have done a subperb job of blending the more conventional rock of the early lips with the psycadellic flare of their last 2 albums.
