From an agnostic mindset

I still find this album very good. It may not be my preference of content but I've supported Thrice and Dustin for over a decade and this same message has always been underneath the layers. Songs like "Rejoice" and "It's not enough" get stuck in my head and I enjoy them a lot. Even if you're not deeply religious, it's worth the purchase. He's always struck me as a good man, and he has 3 daughters to support so I'd highly recommend doing the right thing and downloading or purchasing this legally.

I love this!

I grew up listening to Dustin's projects with Thrice and, along the way, I met Jesus. It seems like Dustin was there the whole way. This project means much more to me than just another worship album to put into the rotation.

Aside from that, Dustin's lyrics are so true and not trite. I think churches desperately need this just so normal people can really express themselves and have it actually mean something.

Great Album

Wasn't expecting this to be a worship album. I was expecting an album more like Dustin's other solo albums. However, since this is Dustin Kensrue we're talking about, this is by far some of the best worship music I've listened to in a while. Much more lyrical depth than you'll find with most worship music, and it doesn't hurt that Dustin's an excellent musician as well. I'd highly recommend this to any of my friends.

And while Thrice always remained his top priority, he began more seriously working on solo acoustic material around 2004. Originally writing under the project name Ursus Veritas, Kensrue eventually dropped the moniker, choosing instead to work under his own name. Tracks first appeared online via MySpace in spring 2005,...
