Nick Santo's anguished, innocent-sounding lead on "There's a Moon Out Tonight" became a hit some three years after the song was originally issued. By this time they had disbanded, but regrouped in a hurry trying to milk the hit. This album collects ten tunes they cut for Planet, most of them superior to "There's a Moon Out Tonight," but none of them able to duplicate that song's success.

Not to be confused with the Philadelphia group of the same name, the New York City Capris were a white doo wop group.
