Album Review

Funnyman Lewis Black works through a series of hilarious skits that apply a sarcastic, sometimes angry look at just how crazy American culture really is. Topics include Bill Clinton's oral sex shenanigans, how idiotic the Heaven's Gate cult was, and his experiences auditioning as himself for a television pilot. Rather than simply reveling in vulgarity, Black makes his humor highly palatable with his constant emphasis on national affairs. His points are relevant and full of irony.

Black's White Album

This is one of the funniest albums you will ever hear. He's always in your face and screaming at the audience. Its great. You should see him performing (buy his stand-up video on itunes), because his facial expressions and finger movements are hilarious. A MUST-BUY for anyone who likes the Daily Show (where his career began), or just likes great comedy. ¤†¤, Iron.

The White Album

Lewis Black is one of the best comedians today. He is insightful cutting through the veil of polite propanganda that most citizens are willing to accept helping us stop and look at our society in a different way and seeing the humor in it all. Lewis Black's comedy is directed to present day events in our daily lives. He points to the utter stupidity that appears rampant in our society. No stone is left unturned from Hurricanes, States, and Politicians as he carves humor our of the impact each delivers daily. And he does it through comedy, providing us with some relief from the vicissitudes of life. Thank you Mr Lewis Black.

Satirist and standup comic Lewis Black rose to prominence in the late '90s with regular appearances as a commentator on the Comedy Central cable network's The Daily Show. Obsessed with human stupidity, Black became one of the show's most distinctive contributors with his weekly Back in Black segment; his delivery was so full of frothing, barely articulate bile and rage that it could sometimes obscure the sharpness of his social and political observations.
