Awesome take on a classic tune!

Not only one of the finest guitarists out there, but a fantastic piano player to boot! It's very cool to here this performed like this.

Best version of Hendrix Classic to date!!

I've been a huge Eric Johnson fan long before most people even knew who he was. Hearing Eric's arrangement and piano performance of this Hendrix classic is nothing short of brilliant and easily THE best version of "Wind Cries Mary" that I have ever heard.

Eric has always had a myriad of musical influences and lately I hear a lot more of a Jazz influence in both his guitar and piano playing writing/arranging. There are times in his version of "Wind Cries Mary" where I can hear traces of the late great British Jazz pianist Gordon Beck. Gordon was probably the greatest Jazz pianist to have ever walked the earth in my opinion.
