this album is like a picture of two kids falling in love and kissing each other on the cheek where everything is new and exciting. only it feels like it happened to you. she's a little like camera obscura's "let's get out of this country", also bjork, only a lot less weird and more digestible. start with "willis".

Sea of bees is a genuis when it comes to music.


Sea of Bees really succeeds at providing relaxing, creative and yet interesting music. So much slower music is dull, but this EP demonstrates her unique voice and lyrical style that is not only pretty but engaging. Sounds a lot like Giant Drag's Annie Hardy, without the electric guitar. The must buy is "Willis", but who not get the whole she-bang?

Marked by charm and introspection, Sea of Bees is the folk-seasoned indie pop project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Julie Baenziger.
