One of the greats!

Jimmy Rogers was one of the crossover greats of the 1950s and 1960s. He didn't sing all country or all rock.. but something in between. Honeycomb was of course his biggest hit, but he had any number of songs that were really just as good. Sadly, and I believe it was sometime in the late 1960s or very early 1970s, he was pulled over in a traffic stop in Los Angeles and the cop pulled him out of his car and beat him with his night stick. I hope iTunes, at some point, gets a decent copy of his greatest hits and puts it out here. It would be well deserved.
