Look Out For These Guys

The first time I listened to "Deceiver", I was actually kind of shocked at how good it sounded to me. I had heard the EP previously and was kind of indifferent, but "Deceiver" totally changed my opinion on these guys. The Word Alive will soon be making a lot of noise in the genre, if they haven't already. This deluxe re-issue just adds to what was already a stellar release. If you're like me, you already own some of the songs that were on the "Punk Goes..." collections, but don't let that stop you from getting the album. The remixes and videos are very nice as well. I would recommend this album most to someone who does not own the original "Deceiver" (obviously), as it's the definitive version.

Can't wait to see them at Warped this year!

very good

this album is great. full of energy! i hope i can see them live. i really like epiphany and lights and stones. this is definitely a cd of theirs to remember.

This album is amazing.

I fell in love with The Word Alive when I saw them with Eyes Set To Kill in 09' after seeing them I immediately bought their Empire EP. I was stoked when I heard they had a full length coming out August 2010. The album was beyond my expectations and blew me away. Now they have released this deluxe edition and I didn't think it was possible but it got even better! you should definately buy this album!
