Old School Classics on this Album

Some wonderful old school cuts on this one. If you like Switch make sure you check out some Debarge. Also Bobby Debarge of Switch put a final album before his passing called, "It's Not Over". Definately worht a listen as well.

Too Smoth to Be Rock

I had to download this album, however I was suprised to find it in the rock section. This is late Motown at its best. This era and style of music is simply classic. This is when a love song was a love song and muscians were key factors in the studio.

Classic R&B

This album is truly one of the R&B classics. It came from a time when you could listen to more than two songs on an album and like more than 90% of them. I still remember where I was, what I was doing and how old I was the first time I heard "There'll Never Be", and "I Call Your Name". They don't make them like this any more.

I just finished reading the tragic (all to common) story of Switch in Vibe magazine. That story makes this album even more of a classic because we as listeners take the struggle of our favorite musicians for granted. Don't let anyone fool you, even though the air waves are saturated with booty shaking sexually saturated lyrics that my 10 year old daughter can here on the radio on the way to school, when the fad is over, it's R&B that takes you back to that time in your life where you cherish the most of your memories. And when you're trying to set that mood for that special someone in your life, and no disrespect intended, it ain't Lil John that's gonna get you there. Yeeeaaaahhhhh! Holla atcha boy!!

What I find most confusing is why does iTunes rate this as a Rock Album????
